Again, many businesses are facing a huge challenge due to the current development of the pandemic situation. Some sectors are facing closures once more. It is not clear yet what the scope and the duration of the restrictions regarding public life will be.
The cancellation of music events and the closure of cultural establishments means an imminent danger to their economic livelihoods for many creatives, among them our members, to whom we have a special obligation. GEMA can therefore no longer offer voluntary credits to its customers in the same way it could at the beginning of the pandemic.
