DISTRIBUTION DATES

In order to ensure a regular cash flow, GEMA distributes its income at regular distribution dates, spread throughout the year. The dates depend on the respective distribution category.

 

Special Information

We would like to inform that from now on, the divisions for performance and reproduction will be distributed on 1 June instead of 1 April as was previously the case. The following distribution categories are affected by the change: U, UD, M, E, ED, EM, BM, KI, DK and DK VR divisions .

* International income (both rights) is paid out on an ongoing basis upon receipt on the first day of each quarter. Pay-out details including country specifications are available on the GEMA homepage and in virtuos (GEMA magazine).

** without surcharges for statutory remuneration rights; these will be distributed separately on 1 December 2019.

*** In addition, the distribution of YouTube revenues for the period November 2016 to December 2017 (usage reports) is planned for GOP, GOP VR as of April 1, 2019.

 

Supplementary distributions (e.g. due to claims pursuant to Art. 59 para. 1 and 2 of the distribution plan) shall be made each year as of 1 November in the categories BM, E, ED, EM, M,U, UD.
