How can I change my login email address?

The easiest way to change your login email address is directly in the online portal under the My data service:

Log in to the online portal, go to My area and select the My details service.
Under My user details you can change your email address by clicking on the pencil icon.
Save the change and the update is complete.
 

Special case: 
If you no longer have access to your previous login email and are therefore unable to make the change yourself, we will be happy to update your login email for you. To do so, please send an e-mail for verification to mitgliederservice@gema.de with the following information:

Subject: Change of login e-mail address

• Your new e-mail address
• Your membership number
• Your date of birth
• Your address

We will help you as quickly as possible.
