What should I do if a publishing employee has left the company but still has access to the portal?
Please let us know as soon as possible when an employee is leaving your publishing company and if they had access to our Online Portal via a publisher email address. If employees leave the company, we always have to delete the respective online account. Don’t forget: The use of the online access is not transferable.
Before we delete the access, we kindly ask you to mail us the following details to mitgliederservice@gema.de:
- Has your employee been in charge of submitting sound files or setlists? We can transfer the data from these areas to an online account of your choice. Just tell us the email address of the account which the data shall be transferred to. We require a personally signed confirmation for the transfer.
- Please also let us know since when the employee is no longer working for your publishing company and whether any other accounts should be removed beyond that.
Once we have all the relevant details, we will implement the requested changes as soon as possible.
