What do I need to be aware of as a publisher if I use the Electronic Confirmation Process (ECP)? What has changed as a result of the new derivation logic?

With the introduction of the derivation logic, the Electronic Confirmation Procedure (EBV) will now only display authors in the EBV lists who, according to GEMA’s documentation, have an active contractual relationship with your publishing house. 

As a publisher, you can continue to use the EBV to set the publisher identifier for those authors whom you represent as a publisher.  
If an author is missing from your list for one or more works, please report this via the work registration process. If there is an author on your list with whom you have no contractual relationship, or no longer have one, you can deregister this contractual relationship via the EBV.
