How can I add performers to the works?

You can add performers to a work that has already been registered by adding a sound recording. This is necessary if the performing artists were not yet known at the time of the original work registration or if they are to be added at a later date. Here’s how:

  1. In the GEMA online portal, select ‘My Area’ and open ‘My Repertoire’.
  2. Using the three-dot menu, select “Add sound recording” for the desired work. 
  3. You can now add one or more performers to the work.

Once added, the performers will be linked to the work in the GEMA database and taken into account in future royalty statements. You can add one or more performers at the same time.
