How can I report music uses with GEMA?

You can register music usage via the GEMA online portal, where you first calculate the fee using the price calculator. This applies to events (concerts, festivals, sporting events), ongoing music usage (background music in shops, restaurants and hotels), music on the internet, and the production of sound recordings and audiovisual recordings. Individual tariffs that are not yet integrated into the fee calculator should be registered using the form and/or by email; these can be found in the tariff overview on gema.de. Registration is required before the music is used, regardless of the type of use.
