I have received an invoice but I am not the event organiser. What can I do?

If you have received an invoice even though you are not the event organiser, you can dispute the charge via the GEMA online portal. In the ‘My Invoices’ section, select the relevant invoice, click on ‘Request a change’, describe your case and submit the request.  

Important: We only send invoices to people who have previously purchased an event licence. If no objection to being designated as the event organiser was raised when the licence was issued, the licence holder is deemed to be the event organiser and is obliged to pay. The appeal process allows for the correction of incorrect attributions.
